Apologies if you've already explained this, but when I install this, I'm assuming I delete the last updates files that I installed, and the saves will automatically transfer over?
If you uninstall the old version the save files will be removed with it. Try to install the new version over the current one, it should give you a message saying that it will update the current installation and keep the save files.
