Wow, thank you for the in-depth feedback! Your comment was spot on. We absolutely overscoped and were rushing to get a preview of a preview of our final vision done. Next time, we'll definitely set a smaller goal and set aside more time for UX / sound effects / polishing. We had a lot of fun making this and we're excited to try another jam.
