I don't know about running the game in MAC OS, but you could always install bootcamp and run it with windows. I don't even think I've booted my Macbook into MAC OS at any point this previous year. The only reason I even have the Macbook is because it was shipped to me for University, as some of the programs required to do coursework had no windows versions, and now that I am done with Uni, I have no reason to boot into MAC OS.
