Some nice touches and good use of the content to make an encompassing package.
I was a little put off by the position of the camera relative to the character since it was so close to his back and the player doesn't have control over it to get a better view of platforming distances/positioning. I realized after a bit that the overhead camera was off to the right and that really did make the game far more playable so it felt like a nice touch, but it really might be unnecessary if players had more control of the main camera and/or that camera wasn't so close up that you really can't see much outside the back of the player character.
