Action-packed top-down Halloween beat-em-up.
The gameplay is pretty fast and gets very intense very quickly after you pick up a couple of friends along the way. I easily had my entire elementary school running around with me and felt near invincible as a result, but also couldn't really tell where my main character was or what was happening around them.
I like the different player character costumes having different specials that all felt unique and having an upgrade station to use collected candy gave candy more value than just a score mechanic so that was a nice touch.
The audio is nice with some pretty cool music and sound effects that are appropriate but don't overpower the gameplay.
The damage/attack screen shake feedback was cool, but got a little fatiguing to watch after a playing for a few minutes so it could probably be toned down just for the sake of jarring players less as they get further into play sessions.
Overall it feels pretty cool, but I'd recommend trying things like limiting the player party to only the 4 unique characters and allies to pick up would only spawn if you were missing someone from the party (similar to Left-4-Dead respawning systems). That'd keep the number of kids swarming around the player to a more manageable number as well as provide a bit more tension for losing as the party possibly dwindles down to the last character or two in more intense combat situations.
