You're right, the sluggish controllability of movements really creates discomfort. I've been thinking a lot about how to find a compromise between realism and the fun of the gameplay. In fact, on a planet with a gravity many times less than Earth's, walking speed and the ability to rotate are much weaker than it is implemented in my game. In addition, I planned to use the player's inability to turn around abruptly in some frightening effects.
