I think it would feel more interesting if it was possible to fail somewhere. Also, reminded me of the Space Rangers 2' text quests ^^

funny, at first we considered "dead ends" in the story (that part you collect coordinates and if you input wrong coordinates, you should end up at dead space), but we didn't have time implement coordinates input, so went this way.
Also - what is "Space Rangers 2' text quests"? Can I find it on web?
