I believe that the ??? log is meant for this fish you encounter after leaving Augustus's island, for penny and mabels date you need you need to do scarlets fertilizer quest
I already did the fertilizer quest tho.
Unless there's some second secret fertilizer quest I didn't find.
think the ??? might be the wolf. on the site thats what he's labeled as
