Thanks for the feedback! Yes, there was no connection b/w the narrative and the 'gameplay', however I didn't want to submit something without any story. Gameplay ended up being minimal in the trade-off there. :)
As for the visuals, there was going to be a larger story with changing environments as you run across the beach. That was admittedly too ambitious and sadly had to be scrapped if I wanted to make the deadline.
