The house key is under a jar on the front porch. being able to search anywhere was intentional if you could only search important objects we felt players could just spam the space bar and find stuff super easy. you are right about the weird movement , there are spots in particular where the player just loses his mind or becomes an X-Men and just walks right though stuff. haha. sorry about that.
