Thank you so much for the feedback! The bug theme becomes apparent later in the story, but unfortunately due to time restrictions of the jam, we weren't actually able to get to that part of the story for the prototype, whoops. However, we do plan on continuing work after the jam and will be releasing the full game once it's done!
