I love the concept of the different guns with different energies that have more effects than just hurt the robots. it reminds me a lot of ratchet and clank in that regard. there was clearly a lot of love put into the atmosphere and aesthetics, and it even got a little bit scary at times when the spiders surprised you. Personally, i did experience a lot of lag, which i'm not sure is an issue of the game being ported to HTML, or an issue with my PC. It seems to specifically trigger when enemies were loaded and when more than a couple were calculating their movement. i'm curious about the calculation techniques used in that regard. Wonderful experience overall, great job!

Thank you for your feedback! It's true that I put a lot of my energy in the environment and I'm glad it shows.

Concerning the lag I wasn't able to pinpoint where it come from in such a short amount of time but I think it's related to the first time a sound being played and maybe a lack of optimization of the light count.

The spiders movement is a bit simple, it calculate the distance between them and the player, at a large amount of distance is goes back to it's starting point by using a navmesh, at a middle it jumps (certain spiders jumps certain just don't) and at a short range it follows you in a straight line.
