This is an interesting mashup of games, it felt a little bit like Megaman Battle Network and a little bit like Crypt of the Necrodancer. Controls and gameplay are very intuitive and everything immediately made sense. Your enemy designs have some good variety and add a nice level of extra challenge. There were some times where I felt forced into stepping into damage but I also felt like that could have been avoided by pre-empting the proper positioning. Pretty funny story and I had a laugh when Edison's head came floating out. The boss fight was challenging but didn't feel unfair. I did have fun BUT I did beat it on the first try so I felt like the difficulty curve was just a little off. Great sprite work and music really help elevate this and make it feel polished. Overall very cool game and nice to see another rhythm based entry in this jam.
