Literature doesn't have a capital letter unless that's the name of your cat, you don't put commas before "and", you don't finish sentences with colons or semi-colons. and as a matter of grammar style, you are certainly overusing entirely misusing the semi-colon, which is used to differentiate separate lists, not each item in a list.
