Zombies were super cute :) I liked the idea for sure, though for me pools spawned in a little too slowly and it was unclear to me how to proceed past level 3 after a lot of tries, it felt very much like a single mistake guaranteed a loss. Ability selection wasn't intuitive, the white background looks like selected and the red looks like unselected to me. But I enjoyed the art and music and am curious what kind of abilities and expansions on the loop I missed.

Yeahh, I tried to design the levels in a way that you must first fail to understand the pattern and then adapt by knowing exactly what zombies are going to do. That’s why one mistake can lead to a disaster and why the pools are spawning after a second. But I definitly understand why it might be confusing.
No one told me that before but you’re completly right, I should have put the white background as the selected mode. My bad, I will remember it for the next jams!
