Do you have any controller connected ? like a xbox /ps controller, or a racing wheel.
I have a racing wheel always connected (never know when I want to race XD) and it made me the opposite (always pressing down button).
Take care especially to the pedals if you have.
If any input is made, it's over.
That's not the only game with this bug, many games has it. I suppose that a problem with the engine.
