i have an idea it’s not a pretty big one that would take major game dev or anything but maybe you can write a little backstory for your giants it doesn’t have to be their life story just a little story prior of them being taken and grown by the aliens
For example so and so was a very friendly person everyone loved then and they were pretty well known but suddenly they vanished for a while but they would return and they wouldn’t be the same person when they did
