Finished the campaign.

The presentation of this game is on a league of its own. Like, holy shit this game could sell on its art style ALONE. The main character and its animations are amazing, the UI is very smooth.

I had an easy time on some levels, but others were just pure nightmare. Its really easy to get overwhelmed by enemies and get snipped by some of them you cannot even see. Almost all close on you very quickly, so things get franctic fast. The star in particular is brutal. I liked that the penalty area got smaller the more times I got hit. It can get pretty small.

I got disoriented in some of the the cube-like levels. Jumping felt very difficult, specially when pressured by enemies. Also got a crash when using a bomb:

It would be cool if there was a way to speed up the defeat sequence. I really like the animations, but they stop the momentum and sometimes I just want to get back to the gameplay quickly.

I have been following your posts in the /v/ threads, it is really cool to finally give the game a try. I hope you will be able to keep working on it!

thanks for playing and detailed feedback and suggestions. you got some good ranks considering how harsh the difficulty curve is in this demo. stars are definitely gonna get adjusted and i'll look into reducing the gotchas related to the corners. it's possible to play around them if you act more careful with your movement and camera, but looking into that anyway will probably benefit the game as a whole, so i'll toy around with that.
