Hard to understand.
I don't know if I just missed the location of the controls, but I couldn't exactly figure out how to play.
I'm probably missing something, but I found it odd that jumping stopped my character from being vaporized.
I also found it a bit difficult to see exactly what's going on, as the background blended in with the focused (foreground) game objects.
Maybe adding a higher contrast to the art, as well as providing a detailed controls paragraph.
