the game is progressing smoothly and it is quite enjoyable, the only thing i would like to ask is either a cheat or an extension on how many actions you get until Maelys attacks (If it's not already in the game.)
Recruiting the mercenaries should give you enough time to explore pretty much every option in Act III!
