Thank you for the nice comment (=

Really glad the atmosphere seems to work for some people since it's probably the only thing that i had a clear vision for from the start.

I mentioned SH1 as inspiration for the puzzles but the atmosphere was strongly inspired by Yume Nikki and its fangames, i personally concider it a fangame as well even though it doesn't really fit the definiton technically.

If you really get stuck you can just add me on discord and ask for a hint, 2 people did it already lol.

I'll think about the proper way to do hints soon, don't want to directly put them in the game but don't want people to get stuck forever either, at least not on the normal ending

I was thinking Yume Nikki as I wrote this, lol! and I might take you up on that! I'm stuck but not sure if I'm ready to ask for help yet! Thank you!

I don't have discord but I'm curious and am stuck at the second puzzle. I got the map, and found the phone and the book but can't solve the book and can't find the 4 digit number anywhere. I'm assuming that the arrow on the map as well as the bumps are hints but I can't seem to make anything useful out of this information. Honestly, just putting a little hyperlink in the description of the game linking to some hints would be useful, since this game seems really well made and a rather difficult puzzler. Either way, continue working on this, it's a great game so far and it seems like it's only up from here for you!

I'm not sure how to handle the hints yet, having a link right under the game seems a bit too tempting for me, at leats i know i would probably look at it too soon myself.

For now here is a google doc with hints in white text so you don't get accidently spoiled, i'm not sure if i'll keep this up but this should help you for now

(1 edit)

huh the book and the phone have different combos for some reason

This might be the fact that I'm using the browser version, but I'm inputting the numbers 1 by 1, top down, in the book (clicking x times corresponding to the 4 digit number) but no matter what it still says that it's wrong. This may be a bug with the browser version, or I got the code wrong, but the code still works on the phone so idk

i think the code is 2001

It's not... test it on the phone

ohh lol idk wut to say
