The connection to the theme is if you navigate the ship to the light side of the planet you get your heat meter increased, if you navigate to the dark side of the planet your ship is freezing state and the heat meter decreases. The duality is you have to manage between heat and cold. However, we did run out of time to implement the death logic ;(.
