I hate to be that guy, but I'll have to be that guy and say, Espeon are canine, not feline
Espeon is inspired by the mythical creature called the Carbuncle, one who is said to have a body both feline and canine.So it is feline AND canine.
yeah, Carbancle was also said to be a Squirrel, so probably not the best intepretation
it is never confirmed if it were feline or canine strictly however in the pokepedia it is always described as "a cat like pokemon"
