Great notes on the luck element. I designed it to be a casino-inspired thing with a chance of buying useless hints. But I didn't realize that casinos are fun because you actually earn real money. XD
For your note about making each hint less OP: I could've added colored teacups and diversify the hints like "Poison is beside a red cup".
But unless I can solve the coin-is-important problem, it's best to do a minesweeper-style solvable game.
(Sorry for the long reply! Just thought I'd let you know how your comments gave lots of food for thought. Your feedback on the other games were useful learning points too.)
