It doesn't even start running? Have you installed .NET? (https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework/net472; download the runtime version)

hi man thanks for the help but I have installed it already. Forgot to add that I am currently playing via parrallels but with other games this does not affect my ability to play the game.

Oh, you're not running this on a native Windows device? That's not possible indeed, the game needs the Windows file structure.
