That may sound dumb - but try planting more chads, considering that they pay off in just 1 cycle, they really help in boosting your eco. In general, use chads more, for example to trigger a mulliboom or as a meatshield for the underground worm enemy. Make sure to shovel them if a hardy is near tho!
