Thanks for the feedback, i totally agree with you, im planning on doing one and posted it here in the comments,
a combo you can do its w key + mouse right click to explode the Zero Gravity Platforms and destroy walls / make AOE damage to enemys
To explore the lab you'll need to build platforms and jump on them
Also in the first room where you appear, you can find the double jump power up.
