I felt that the game was really hard to play due to how the controls are configured. Intuitively I expect WASD to be Up, Left, Down, and Right but making them diagonal is really distracting. I found that pushing multiple keys allows the player to move Up, Left, Down, and Right and the game handles it just fine. I think it would be best to keep WASD for the Up, Left, Down, and Right and let them use that to traverse diagonally by pressing multiple keys since that occurs often in other games.  Also, while the sword animation looks good, it moves too slowly. Combined with the slow recharge time it makes it impossible to fight the enemies since there are just so many of them. I would advocate for making both the attack animation and the recharge time faster, or even ditch the recharge time altogether.  Aside from those issues I though the art style and the level design was pretty well done. I can tell you put a lot of effort into this game. Good work!
