(Aaaaanyways-lemme go make ma lil' anthro boy-)
Luno was at an anthro auction, walking up and down the aisles of cages and looking at the breeds. A lot of them were admittedly very rare or exotic, but they were also really really beaten up. The hunters clearly hadn't bothered to keep them in good shape, and he wondered if he should really buy from them because of that.
Even if he wanted to, he couldn't just take them all with him. He hated walking by them all, seeing just how beaten, bruised, and most likely on the verge of death..!. . .Regardless however, he slowly walked by most of them, at times making some small talk with one or two of them. Secretly however, he dropped, just ironically, some things into there cages when the hunters hadn't been looking. In general he wanted better lives for them all, he knew he couldn't provide them all with that sorta love and attention, even if he merely got two of them. But he was nearing the end of the line of cages, while none of them peaked his exact interests, something caught his eyes on the last one, something about them.. telling himself to know more about them.
