I feel like-yours is pretty good I mean Todoroki's-difficult. Like I have a really hard time writing him, and I'm literally writing a fanfic where he's one of the POV characters. I think like-the main thing to remember is he's a weird mix of eloquence(just like how he speaks, he doesn't really use like contractions or like informal terms), HARDCORE bluntness like he doesn't understand social cues so he just kinda says whatever, and um yeah he's definitely really kind but it's like-almost like this oblivious sort of kindness. It's like there's no...choice there he just kinda does that cuz-that's what he's supposed to do, right?
And yes Kaz is who you're thinking of. They're just like-they're honestly really good for each other. Daddy issues and firepower, man...
Yeah, they fit together more then you think-
And true, you can't pin todorokis exact personality. Nor on the bluntness, and how kind he is. Everything he does is either just out of pure, well, instinct. Or because he doesn't know any better, I mean in general he is semi-a bit of a mess, between being a kind, oblivious ice prince, (like Iceberg, scp reference uv u), or just-, well, almost confused person, sometimes even in the mix of being scared if he wasn't the way he was.
So listen, listen-I FEEL LIKE-and this is just a headcanon thing but I 100% feel like this is a thing-Shinsou would be REALLY, REALLY good at helping people through panic attacks. Because HE definitely has a lot of anxiety and depression issues and I feel like he has that thing(which is a thing I have btw-) where he's been to so many therapists at this point that he just has basically become a mini-therapist for everyone else(JESUS CHRIST I'M A SHINSOU KINNIE-) Like he's definitely just the therapist of his friend group.
BUT ALSO-
he's got the whole, "I have a villainous quirk and everyone hates me for it ;-;" thing going on but LISTEN-LISTEN YOU KNOW WHO ELSE HAS THAT!? Lukas. His is a little different because it's less "I have a villainous quirk" and more- "I have no control over my quirk and I'm TERRIFIED of it" but they definitely share the general like-somewhat dislike of their quirks.

If you think Shinsou wouldn't just like-brainwash the shit out of every HPSC officer/pro-hero that came Lukas's way with NO collateral damage you DEAD wrong-none of them know his quirk so literally he could difuse those situations so quickly-

OKAY-, we LITERALLY, NEED, shinsou to be the therapist, because look-you may think someone like, idk, MINA would be that, but no-IT'S SHINSOU, and yeah, they really do fit, they both have somewhat the same issues, (minus the depresso thing for shinsou), and well, in every way they do!......and yeah, hate for their own quirk. TvT
And trrrruuuue, like seriously, shinosu would actually be the BEST bet for disfusing things with lukas. -v-
