He was just staying quiet, head lowered
Now that he was closer, Kirishima could notice a few things-ONE-this boy was really, really pretty. TWO-his flower crown got a little bit bigger the more scared he was which honestly was kinda adorable but also really sad-THREE-....he had....a LOT of cuts and bruises on him......there was one near his eye that-if it had been even a little bit to the left-would DEFINITELY have been a black eye, a faint, healing one on his cheek, and a lil' cut on his chin like he had maybe split it before. FOUR-his uniform was big on him, and definitely secondhanded, not in the best of conditions. FIVE-this was magnified by the fact that he seemed really skinny...like he was just sort of teeny.
As the more he noticed these little bits, (which to him, we're just.. horrible signs, like seriously.), he got more and more worried about him. He was so.. frail compared to just the normal people, not normal, no-.. just the normal human size. The cuts and bruises we're confusing to him at first, but knowing you, I'm sure that will be answered in a matter of minutes. As for the flowers, he honestly wasn't so focused on how cute it fit him-no, he was more focused on why they we're getting bigger.. if he was right, then.. he was scared of him.
".. Hey, do you-mind if you stay after-class a little bit extra, so we can talk?.. I just, wanna talk with you about a few things, uhm.. schedule-things!"
Yeah, he just didn't want him to bring up these little facts infront of everyone, though-you could probably see threw the lie instantly after hearing it, a nervous, light smile on kiri's face-
