On the game's note, MC mentions that you should look around and start getting yourself ready by interacting with the objects in the room, which is basically interacting most of the highlighted objects in the attic and there is something past that bedroom and more stuff to it! Make sure to basically interact with everything, and something will happen shortly after!!
