right click the game file click open terminal at this folder type without the quotes "chmod +x "drag the game file here after you type a space after +x" press enter then type "chmod -R 777 "drag game file here again" press enter this overrides access then it will tell you the file was blocked by your computer go to system preferences > Security & Privacy then click allow anyways at the bottom, this should get you where you need to be, I'm a mac user too
