I think this needed some added stuff sort of like in Pilot Wings game, where you had try go thru loops for a challenge go a certain path, had to touch certain flags on the mountain and have like landing areas to stop and start from. Everything looks good but without challenges, goals, rewards and stats all you have is a nice physics environment to move around in without any real sense of purpose. Also could use houses, buildings, roads and animals as the environment needs more in it to be interesting. Flying under a big bridge with people on it stuff like that. This is feedback for your next projects if you take on more since this one is over now. It is open source I see, its a good start.
Hey Eagle! Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I agree that a structure like Pilot Wings could have gone a long way towards making Volo into a full game experience. I spent too much time focusing on the details of the simulation model, and without the surrounding game framework in place it didn't really have a hook. Definitely keeping this in mind for any potential future titles.
