Thanks man I really appreciate it, I've had these ideas for months now and they are more just interesting little thoughts rather than fully fletched game ideas. I thought needing to know how to code would be a huge barrier but you really motivated me to just start and try!
Yeah man i really think you should try! And learning code isnt that difficult once you get the hang of different things. After a while of coding you should be able to create whatever you want, coding is basically just using very simple logic that anyone can understand in a goofy language. But once you get used to what does what you will eventually get to that point where you can create anything you want in your game and improvise the code for that specific thing in your game!
