We could release it even now but all you'd get was updated sprites for all girls (which actually took a lot of effort to make), introductory to Hange, scenes with sister and a few small events. So no, there's no point in rushing it. We're doing what we can and once I think there's enough stuff to actually release it, we do it.
I don't like updates of other games where you get one or two new pics and they call it an update.
