How do Umiko's hidden pictures work? Is there actually some thing I'm missing, or do I have to blindly click on every pixel on every picture until I get lucky?

I am having the hardest time with this, possibly cause I'm on android, but nice to see an example of how it should look. Like I feel like I'm going insane or Umiko lied to me about the first one, haha
