i feel like this could be a steam release in the future the game idea is there and if you add some story, some levels, an other cool unique features it could be a great 2d steam release, i suggest focusing on the story because i feel like that could set your game apart from others. A unique and easy to follow story with lore :)
Wow man thanks a lot. Yeh I’ll definitely focus on the story, I’ve continued to work on the base game so far though, (added that reply button and an extra gun unlock when you defeat the spider) and some extra animations. Right now I’ve got an idea of each level there’s four bosses, and once you defeat all you advance to the next one, it continues to get harder until you play the final boss. You also obtain upgrades and additional storyline’s while advancing, I’ll probs add like villages and townsfolk where you can complete quests to unlock extra upgrades. Thanks for the kind words :)
