well-yeah cuz see I needed Deku to run so that him and Todoroki could have another interaction. Like I have a whole outline for this story I KNOW roughly where it's going-I just have to figure out how to get from place to place. So I knew I had to do something to push Deku to the point of running which meant whatever it was would have to be really, really bad. My beta reader actually helped me come up with the mom stuff.
