This is MY type of game :-P Really enjoyed it. You did a great job, especially keeping the short amount of time in mind.
I love the art and of cause the game mechanic and the growing tension towards day 10. Also the lightning effects and the sound FX - everything blends together really well.
One suggestion: The indicators for each item are a great help to learn what to do and how to do it. However, I was catching myself constantly and only looking at these bars all the time instead of checking the farm itself (the chickens, trash bin, fence etc.). My suggestion: remove the indicators starting from a certain day (or fade them out graduately mid-game) to guide the focus on your nice game scenery.
