ohh like that? I know Hyao has added something to unlock the cave complex towards the Orc village w/o having the meeting between Korg and Everett... So I assumed he already implented something like that for Country Road...
The fact that he thought how to progress the war quest without Korg and not the country road quest makes me think he simply forgot about this possibility: I mean, Korg is cited only two times and at the end when he meets Ste for the first time, so he's not relevant to the story like in the orc's war.
