I wouldn't be so sure. While the assets are free on the Unity Asset Store, that doesn't mean you're allowed to redistribute them. Which is exactly what you'd do if you give others access to the project files, as is required in this specific game jam. Note that there's a significant difference between using free assets within a compiled game or sharing them within the source files.

Without having to read the 100 page license agreement i am not sure as to if i can use those 2 plugins (as the agreement is universal). From the linked thread you mentioned it seems like i can use any asset i want (free) as long as its removed before submission (if i can't re-distribute it). What that means to me is that i can make a game and use a first person controller from unity then remove it at submission and have a non functioning camera basically ruining my game. The whats the point of adding it in the first place if you are to only remove it later.
