I love the story sketch section, very well thought out. I also like the idea of hte paper sketch and simple animation cues, this should help with both scope and giving it a unique look.

The big thing that's missing for me is general information about the overall level / enemy design. Metroidvanias are complex, and I didn't really get a sense of how this game is going to play aside from the player actions. How will stage progression work? Is there backtracking? Will the player be unlocking more abilities over time?
