Hey, i was one of the Grade 7 students that saw your presentation on this game at the arts show a couple weeks ago, and this game is amazing! I remember you even signed my friend's backpack.
Oooo that is a good idea! Might be a bit tricky to code but I'm up for the challenge. I don't know how the portal gun would do damage tho, maybe every time a enemy goes through the portal they take a bit of damage? You could also just kill them by sending them into the void.
