Absolute masterclass in minimalism, the old style PS1 feel is nailed down perfectly
The creepy unravelling of the story of the town and the people there, the shadows lurking and following you, notes and the snapshots of the town is great, just enough for you to fill in the blanks yourself!
Would jump at random piano noises again!
The lack of music is actually a fantastic feeling, as you don't want music to signal you are being followed or in danger

The only criticisms I can come up with are nit picks really
From my enjoyment of the survival horror type game, I would personally prefer if your gun could fire a bit faster, I understand the thought process that slower firing means the monsters are more of a threat, but personally i like to be able to unload all my ammo into a wall because I panicked and missed!

I think it would be nice if the shadows had a walking sound on them, as that would racket up the tension in a way music would kill.  Also, the walking on grass sound effect from the player did get a little grating after a while

Thank you for this great review. Yes, we do need a lot of tuning to be done not just with sound but other gameplay elements. I also think the firing rate of the gun could be increased a little bit, as that did start to annoy me after playtesting it hundreds of times xD  I really wanted to flesh out the monsters a little more, give them more uncanny animations and sounds, but that will have to wait for now. Again, thanks, and I deeply appreciate your feedback.
