Nice work. The idea is cool.
For me, you should just adjust the blocking feature. Because when you block, you can still move and then make the enemies follow you to a trap, that will kill they for you.

It's not a bug, its a feature :D
i want that the player is able to move while blocking. I made the whole Animation wich takes a few hours :)
Mybe the player should move slower when blocking...
