idk if anyone else is experiencing and a bug at the nexus. but where I enter one of the girls areas then try to exit the nexus, I just go back to the last girls nexus that i went to. Making it so I can't leave the nexus at all unless I load the game.

No m8, you didn't understand the system.
You go in the nexus, it will save your last location, so when you hit "stop exploring" it will take you back to that location.
The method to go back to the overworld is to either go to Morgana's place and exit.
Also if you're far enough into the story you'll have a nexus point in the manor.
Adding to that, by using nexus keys you can unlock a nexus point in Gramps' dojo if you decide to think about Gramps.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're not far in the story, keep playing.
Did you check if there's an exit icon on the bottom right?
Honestly, I still think Arc should've kept both the button and the menu option.
If there is no exit button or a menu option, something may have gone terribly wrong.
And frankly, diagnosing the issue through here is a mess, try joining the discord.
