This is, unfortunately, something itch.io does from time to time.
For no damn reason it decides to put the apk inside of a zip.
So yeah, you could either find a file manager (Solid Explorer and MiXplorer are my recommendations) and extract the zip or check Patreon or Subscribestar and download the public release links (public version is the exact same as the one posted in here)
