Error 258?
Same here BUT I got mine working.
I did not get a screen capture for the error, sorry. It was something to do with a missing line or file.
I am using the Itch.io sandbox.
I uninstalled the game. Then I deleted the user data for InHeat.

C:\Users\itch-player-(...)\AppData\Local
Then I re-installed the game, and it worked:D
