Thanks for the response. I had some problems with the framerate as well, so there is definitely a problem there. slowing time affects everything, including you, it is for precise platforming. Dash is also set to left ctrl, in case that wasn't clear. Also, there is a door in the room that leads to the jump upgrade. It is marked with torches, but it is a bit hard to see.
